Pierre Robin was baptized on October 9, 1653 in St-Jean-de-Beugné, Vendée, France. Son of René and Marie-Claude Limousin-Sillery, he married Marie-Geneviève Guillebourg, on October 28, 1687 in Sillery. She is daughter of Charles and Françoise Bigot, and the widow of Sébastien Gingra. They had only one daughter. A ploughman, he settled in Côte-St-Ignace de Sillery. He was buried on September 3, 1698 in Quebec.

François Robin was born circa 1671 in Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, France. Son of François and Marie David, he married Marie-Françoise Migneron, daughter of Laurent and Marie Guillaume, on June 1, 1694. The location of the marriage remains unknown. From this union were born 9 children. Committed as a service boy in La Rochelle, in 1718 he worked as an edge tool maker. He settled in the Côte-de-Beaupré and then in Montmagny. He died on March 23, 1731 and was buried the next day in Montmagny.
