Pioneers of the Oger family

Pierre Auger was born around 1655 in Lezay, near Niort in Poitou, France. Son of Louis Auger and Suzanne Nicolas, he married Perrine Meunier (15 years old), daughter of René Meunier and Marguerite Charpentier on April 30th, 1685 in Neuville. From their union were born six children. He arrived in the country in 1681, as a servant of the Lord of Portneuf. He settled down at Pointe-aux-Trembles, Neuville. In 1716, he is no longer able to take care of his home. He then gives it to his sons Louis-Joseph and Louis, and they agree to feed and maintain their parents until their death. Pierre died in March 1736 in Neuville.
