Pioneers of the Maurin family

Pierre Morin was born about 1669 in Plaine-Haute, in Brittany, France. Son of Pierre Morin and Marguerite Laurent, he marries Marie-Madeleine Lépinay (17 years old), daughter of Jean Lépinay and Catherine Granger, on February 22nd, 1694, in Beauport. From their union, 17 children were born. He was a sergeant in the navy. In 1693, he settles in Saint-Michel de Beauport. He dies in Beauport and he is buried there on October 28th, 1722.
