Pierre Jammes-Carrière was born circa 1662 in Lantheuil, Normandie, France. Son of Jean Jamme and Charolotte Hus, he married Marie-Madeleine Barbary-GrandMaison, daughter of Pierre and Marie Lebrun, on February 21, 1689 in Lachine. From this union were born 6 children. He is a soldier of the compagnie du sieur de Cruzel when he settled in Lachine. In 1689, he became the guardian of his wife minor children. They were held captive from the Iroquois. He wife died in 1728 and he followed her on November 22, 1740 in Pointe-Claire, where he was buried on November 23, 1740.

Son of Jean and Charlotte Husse, he married Marie-Madeleine Barbary-Grandmaison, daughter of Pierre and Marie Lebrun,on February 21, 1689 in Lachine. From this union were born 6 children. He arrived as a soldier in the company of Sieur Du Cruzel. He settled in Lachine. Having some education (he knew how to sign) he is appointed guardian of the minor children of his parents-in-law. The children were captured by the Iroquois. He died on November 22, 1740 and was buried the next day in Pointe-Claire at the age of 78.
