Pierre Jean was baptized on February 19th 1645 in St-Barthélemy de La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime), France. Son of Vivien Jean and Suzanne Hérault, he marries Françoise Favreau on July 8th 1668 in Saint-Sauveur de La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime), France. Four children were born from their union. His wife dies and is burried on August 6th 1723 in L'Islet. A widower, he marries Anne Bourassa on August 13th 1724. They have no child together. He is a blacksmith. He comes to New France in 1669. He buys and sells many pieces of land and many heads of cattle. He dies between 1723 and 1726.

Léonard Jean-Tourangeau was born circa 1680 in Tours, Indre-et-Loire, France. Son of Léonard Jean and Anne Colibert, he married Marie-Michelle Varin-Gaudriole, daughter of Marin and Marie-Anne Massard, on November 26, 1712 in Montreal. From this union were born 11 children. He came to New France before his marriade and settled in Montreal. Settled in Quebec before 1716 where he died on July 6, 1744.

Jean Béland was baptized on October 17, 1655 in Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France. Son of Jean Bellen and Isabeau-Elizabeth Carren-Cavran, he married Antoine Boutin's widow, Geneviève Gandin, daughter of Barthélémi and Marthe Cognac, on July 18, 1677 in Quebec City. The couple has 6 children. At the time of his marriage, this pioneer undertakes to take care and instruct until the age of 15 the 5 children of his wife. In 1681, established in Neuville, he owns 3 heads of cattle and 20 acres of land. From 1709, he and his wife are housed, fed and maintained by their son. He was buried in Neuville on March 8, 1731, fifteen years after his wife.
