Pioneers of the Haynes family

Jonathan-Joseph Haynes-Hains-Hins (1684-1745): Fils de Jonathan Hins et Sarah Moulton, né le 3 septembre 1684 à Newbury au Massachusetts, épouse Marie Pauzé fille de Jacques Pauzé et Marie Jobidon à Montmagny le 3 octobre 1712. Il arrive au pays vers 1696 avec son frère Joseph et sa soeur Mary, prisonniers des Amérindiens. Il est vendu aux Français. Puis, il est naturalisé en 1710. Il est fermier à St-Thomas de Montmagny avec son épouse et ils auront 10 enfants. Il décède le 28 mars 1745, et est inhumé le lendemain à St-Thomas de Montmagny. Sa veuve est inhumée le 26 juin 1781 à Beloeil.

Jonathan-Joseph Haynes-Hains-Hins (1684-1745): Son of Jonathan Hins and Sarah Moulton, born September 3, 1684 in Newbury, Massachusetts, marries Marie Pauzé, daughter of Jacques Pauzé and Marie Jobidon in Montmagny on October 3, 1712. He arrives in the country about 1696 with his brother Joseph and his sister Mary, prisoners of the Amerindians, to be sold to the French. In 1710, he is naturalized. He is a farmer in St-Thomas de Montmagny with his wife and they have 10 children. He dies on March 28, 1745 and is buried the next day in St-Thomas de Montmagny. His widow is buried on 26 June 1781 in Beloeil.
