Obituary of Yvette Andrews

ANDREWS _ Yvette Loretta (nee Smith) February 17, 1926 - October 13, 2007 Yvette passed away peacefully after the past year of struggles with her health. She leaves to mourn, her brother Bill Smith (Willa) of Victoria, B.C.; her brother-in-law Bud Bruce; as well as her children, Wayne (Renee) Andrews of Laurel, Montana, Patricia (LaVern) Willoughby of Edmonton, Rick (Robyn) Andrews of Vernon, B.C., Ginny Robblee, Colin (Sandy) Andrews, and Cheryl Andrews all of Calgary. Yvette was predeceased by her sister Jean Bruce, her two sons Cameron and Gary, as well as Dick Andrews, her loving husband of fifty-six years. The highlight of her life was to be blessed with twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren as well as many special stepchildren, nieces and nephews. Yvette had to deal with many hard situations, however, the family shared a lot of laughter and love through all the bad times and good times. Thanks to her Home Care provider Rebka as well as the staff at Forest Grove Care Centre for treating our Mother with respect, kindness and dignity. A Celebration of her Life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, October 20, 2007, 10:30 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME and CEMETERY, 17 Avenue S.E. at Garden Road (1.5 km east of 84 Street S.E.).
