SALTER _ William Theodore, B. Comm. (WWII Veteran, Armoured & Intelligence Corps) Peacefully at his home, April 5, 2006 in his 83rd year after mourning for his beloved wife, Frances "Fran" (nee: McFaul) of 55 years, who passed away January 7, 2006. Son of Theodore Rumney Salter and Margaret Evangeline McKelvey. Dear father of Suzanne Salter of Vancouver, and Linda Brown (husband Peter) of North Bay. Loving grandfather of Ellie, Thomas, Emma and Morgan. Dear brother of Carole Briard (husband Philip). Employed by C.I.L., Burroughs, Woods Gordon, Citation Cabinets and Peterborough Lumber. Family and friends will be received at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough from 2:00 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 10th, 2006. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. If desired, donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
