Obituary of William Shelton

Mr. William "Uncle B" Shelton, age 82, of Florence, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at ECM Hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Lauderdale County.Graveside services will be today, Feb. 15, 2006, at 3 p.m. in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Donnie McDaniel.Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his father, Will Shelton; mother, Lilly B. Shelton; sister, Exalee Alexander; and four brothers, Ed, Kirk, Russell and Warren Shelton.He is survived by his wife, Ida Mae Oakley Shelton, of Florence, and a sister, Mrs. Homer Anderson, of California.Greenview Funeral Home, of Florence, is directing.
