Obituary of William Salmond

SALMOND _ William (Bill) Roy Salmond passed away on September 30, 2002 in Surrey, B.C. at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving family: sons, Garry (Evelyn), Garnet (Margaret); two daughters, Dawn (Ken) Hamilton, Gail; also his brothers, Lorne (Marguerite), Milton; his sisters, Elaine (Dave) Ford, Shelby Althouse; and his grandchildren, Jason, Jamie, Rebecca, Kyle, Jennifer, and Trevor. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth in 1995. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the VALLEY VIEW FUNERAL HOME (14660-72nd Ave., Surrey). Interment - Valley View Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of B.C., 1212 West Broadway, Vancouver, B.C.
