Obituary of William Newberry

NEWBERRY, William H. "Dobber," 72, of Gibsonton, Fla., passed away February 12, 2007. Born in Colquitt, Ga., Mr. Newberry moved to the area in 1945 from Georgia. He was retired from Southeastern Lead and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae, and a son, Wayne. He is survived by his son, Lester; brothers Will and Lamar; sister, Jeanine Curby; three grandchildren, Lisa, Brandi and Corey; and 10 great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at Lewers Funeral Home in Ruskin. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, at at Lewers Funeral Home. Interment at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens will follow. Friends may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. Lewers Funeral Home
