Obituary of William Kennah


SOUTH DAYTONA - William J. "Bill" Kennah, 76, of Reed Canal Road, a retired Miami police officer who worked with one of the first K-9 units, died Sunday at Hospice Care Center, Port Orange. Mr. Kennah, an Air Force veteran, was born in Ithaca, N.Y. He moved to Florida from New York in 1955. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Mary; a son, John Wheeler, and a daughter, Debbi Kennah, both of South Daytona; a brother, Kevin, Florida; two sisters, Aprille Miller, Altamonte Springs, and Alice Sherwood, Ithaca; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
