WEBSTER, WILLIAM H. "BILL", 85Hawthorne - William H. "Bill" Webster, 85, of Hawthorne passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 4, 2014 at his residence. Bill was born in Arcadia, CA and had been a resident of Hawthorne for the past 24 years, coming from Jacksonville. He grew up and attended public schools in Elmhurst, IL. He served as Treasurer for the Clow Corp., a pipe manufacturing company, in Illinois and later in Jacksonville for many years, retiring in 1989. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and gardening. Preceding him in death was his wife, Mary Kathryn Webster. Surviving are a son, Daniel R. Webster and his partner, Lawrence E. Markey of Seabrook, TX; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and William "Bill" Andrews of Ft. Garland, CO; a sister, Mary Virginia Curry of Lacey, WA; three grandchildren and spouses, Brian and Brittany Andrews of Rock Springs, WY, Kelly and Jason Wymer of Shawnee, KS, and Katie and Artie Kaplin of Bushkill, PA; six great-grandchildren; a niece and two nephews. Funeral services will be 5:00p.m. Friday, May 9th at the Masters Funeral Home in Interlachen with Pastor Fred Lawrence officiating.. The family will begin receiving friends one hour prior to the time of the funeral. A committal service will be 1:00p.m. Saturday, May 10th at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Jacksonville.
