Obituary of William Dorey

DOREY, William It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Alexander (Bill) Dorey on January 5, 2005, at the age of 76 years. He will be lovingly and sadly missed by his family: daughter, Sharon Dorey Baim (Barry); grandchildren, Kristyn, Meghan, Kalvin and Ryan; son, Daryl Dorey (Meredith), grandchild, Melissa. He will be tenderly missed by Lila Staszewski, and her children Nikki, Darcy and Jay. He is survived by his brother Dan Dorey; and his two sisters Helen Dore, and Jean Vonhollen (Tony); and numerous nieces and nephews. was the second child of Violet and Reid Dorey. He was an inspiration to his family, friends, and acquaintances. He touched all of our lives with his humor and colorful stories, his large generous heart for all he met, and his optimistic and enthusiastic embracement of his life. He will leave a lasting impression on us all. Funeral Service will be held at Athabasca Community Chapel, 3403 - 48 Avenue, Athabasca, Alberta, on Saturday, January 8, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Ron Opmeer officiating with interment to follow at the Athabasca Cemetery.
