<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">Dr. William Boyd Weston, formerly of Hollis, died on January 18 at Hunt Community in Nashua. He was 88.Born on September 17, 1920 to William Harry Weston and Jenny (Boyd) Weston. Boyd attended local schools in Nashua and the University of New Hampshire before entering Harvard Dental School. On May 8, 1943, he married Marjorie Ann Kennedy of Doylestown, PA. After graduation from Harvard, he served during WWII in the US Navy.In addition to his work as a dentist in Nashua for 50 years, Dr. Weston was a charter member of the Nashua Exchange Club and served as secretary of that club for 25 years. A scholarship from the Exchange Club to a Nashua High School student is given each year in his name. He was treasurer and clerk of the Hollis School Board, and a member of the Hollis Planning Board and its Zoning Board of Adjustment. He was also a member of Rising Sun Lodge #39 F. & A.M. for 60 years, the Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Nashua and NH Consistory 32nd Degree. He had served as secretary of the Mecca Investment group for many years, and an avid volunteer in behalf of senior citizens.An avid fly fisherman, Dr. Weston was chairman of the annual Bucky Snow Fishing Derby for foster families, Big Brother, Big Sister, and handicapped children. He also enjoyed bow hunting and weekly poker games with his friends.Dr. Weston is predeceased by his daughter, Judith Weston; his sisters, Annabelle Haven, formerly of Athol, MA, and Jean Fisher, formerly of Denver, CO, and his brother, Andrew Weston, also formerly a dentist in Nashua. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie (Kennedy) Weston, who lives in Nashua; one sister, Connie Blanton, of Melbourne, FL; two daughters, Janice Pianelli and her husband Vince of Macungie, PA, and Joyce Weston and her partner Sally Widerstrom of Plymouth, NH. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Paul Morrill and his wife Barbara of Altamont, NY, Carla Milsop and her husband Bill of Deering, NH, and Derek Evans and his wife Lynn of Doylestown, PA, and four great-grandchildren.SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua on Saturday morning at Eleven o'clock by the officers and members of the Rising Sun Lodge #39 F. & A.M. His funeral service will follow. The Reverend Amanda Gott will officiate. Friends are invited to attend.
