Obituary of Virginia Mary Nicol

NICOL, Virginia Mary (Manso) - Peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Scarborough General Hospital in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Nicol. Known as Ginny to family and friends and Gammy once grandchildren arrived. Predeceased by sisters Helen Wilson and Jewel Philpott and brothers Ted Manso and Frank Manso, Ginny is survived by her sister Grace Brown. Ginny was Mom to Robert (Sina), Bruce (Jan) and Wendy Rombough (Brian) and Gammy to grandchildren Veronica Hayter (Jamie), Rita McKeen (Jeff), Eric, Robert, Kristen Bangee (Yusuf), Andrew Nicol (Kathie), Brett Rombough and Colleen Carson (Geoff) and great- grandchildren Caden, Peyton, Cian, Noor, Humza, Cooper and Liam. Ginny lived by her motto "never say die, say damn" and did not let the impairments of aging prevent her from living in her own home until the end. Her tenacity, generosity and sense of humour will be missed by her extended family and friends alike. In accordance with Ginny''s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Donations to the charity of your choice in Ginny''s memory would be appreciated by the family.
