She later worked with the Department of Family Services, where she was well loved by the many friends she made. Her retirement years were happily spent in Brandon, near her youngest son and his family, with whom many happy times were shared over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her older brother, Howard and younger brother, John, and her daughter, Barbara Jean Sanzenbacher. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles; her devoted children, Charles (Irene) Boyer, David (Roberta) Boyer, Elizabeth (E.J.) Leizerman and Donald (Danita) Boyer, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
