Obituary of Timothy-Joseph Carignan

Timothy Joseph Carignan 1954 - 2012 NORWICH - Timothy J. Carignan, 57, of Norwich, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012. He was the son of the late Joseph and Gladys (Petrowsky) Carignan, Sr. Timothy lived his whole life in Norwich where he worked as a licensed plumber for many years. He was a loving son, brother and father who enjoyed spending his spare time fishing and crabbing. He was considered a great cook, an avid reader and a diehard Boston Red Sox fan. What he enjoyed more than anything was spending time with his daughter Cassandra. She was truly the love of his life. He is survived by his loving daughter, Cassandra Marie Carignan; siblings, Catherine Pollard, Joanne Gardner, Janice White, Joseph Carignan, Jr., Anthony Carignan, Philip Carignan, Mary Carignan and Jill Groszswicz; special friend, Marie Tarkowksi; Cassandra's mother, Mary Folan-Korenkiewicz and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 141 Central Ave, Norwich, with a service taking place at 6:30 P.M. Burial will be private.
