Obituary of Thurman-Augustus Herring

COTTONDALE Thurman Augustus Herring, age 86, of Cottondale, died Aug. 5, 2007, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. James Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Flora Herring; daughters, Dorothy LaGrone, Carolyn Clifton and Sheila Lindsey; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.Pallbearers will be grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
