Obituary of Thomas-Wesley Whitmore

A homegoing celebration will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at West Gadsden Funeral Home, Betty D. Robinson Memorial Chapel for Thomas Wesley Whitmore, who died recently.The Rev. Grady E. Robinson Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Whites Chapel Cemetery. West Gadsden Funeral Home directing.He leaves to cherish his memory five daughters, Dorothy (Truman) Gross, Patricia (Len) Sapp, Sharon (Charles) Howk, Shirley (William) Brown and Wanda Thacker; stepdaughter, Becky Jordan; three sons, Donald Whitmore, Ronald Whitmore and Hamilton (Gerrie) Whitmore, Gadsden; three sisters, Jeanette Dodd, Mary Whitmore, Gadsden, and Ellen Ballard, California; five brothers, Norman Whitmore, Richard Whitmore, Jack (Louise) Whitemore, Jimmy (Mary Nancy) Whitmore, Gadsden, and Johnny (Nancy) Whitmore, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and special friends, Bill (Edith) Powell, Wes Freeman, Bobby Couch, Lonnie Thacker and Jerry Wells.
