Thomas, Edward – At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Edward (Eddie) Thomas of 27 Third Street; St. Regis; age 73 years. Dear father of Doris Thomas, Gail Thomas (Danny) and Lorrie Garrow (Kennedy) all of St. Regis, Nora Cook (Gabriel) of Cornwall Island and Floyd Thomas (Bertha) of Massena, NY. Predeceased by one son, Bruce Thomas and by one daughter, Lorna Thomas. Dear son of the late Louis Thomas and the late Louise (Cook) Thomas. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Mike Thomas (Charlene) of St. Regis and Bessie Newvine of Mattydale, NY. Predeceased by three brothers, Richard, Abraham and Leonard Thomas. Resting at Kateri Hall, Hogansburg, NY from 7 p.m. Monday. Funeral Wednesday, February 18, 2009 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Regis Parish Church, St. Regis at 2 p.m. followed by cremation.
