Obituary of Thomas-B. Harkins

HARKINS, Thomas B., 75, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2006, in Sebring, Fla. He was born August 9, 1930, in Allegheny County, Pa., to Thomas R. and Marcella (Schwab) Harkins. He had been a resident of Sebring since 1997, moving from Pittsburg, Pa. He was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and a Chef. He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Waugaman, Pittsburg, Linda Elk, Sebring, Donna Dunner, Pittsburg, Nancy Mutschler, Hammon, La. and Betsy Harkins, Pittsburg; sons, Thomas Harkins, Pittsburg and Joseph Harkins, Pittsburg; brothers, Richard Harkins, Pittsburg, Robert Harkins, Daytona, Fla.; sister, Marlene Harkins, Pittsburg; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2006, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, Sebring. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Ross Township, Pa.
