Obituary of Thomas-A. Brennan

Retired Postal Carrier AUGUSTA, Ga. -Entered into rest Wednesday, April 30, 2008, Mr. Thomas A. Brennan, 84, husband of Mrs. Dorothy Graham Brennan. Mr. Brennan was a native of Bronx, NY and has lived in Augusta for the past 28 years. He was a veteran of the US Navy during WW II, a retired postal carrier after 30 years and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Family members include his daughters and sons-in-law: Patricia and John McNeely of Augusta, Sister Eileen Brennan CSJ of Brentwood, NY, Rosemary and Greg Costello of Atlanta, Maureen and Doug Morris of Atlanta; son: Thomas Brennan of Bayside, NY; brothers: William Brennan, Jr., James Brennan; sisters: Nora Kish, Marguerite Metcalf; 9 granddaughters; 1 grandson and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Brennan was preceded in death by his son: Daniel Brennan. Funeral Mass will be held today, Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Lubinsky celebrant. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. A Rosary was recited on Friday evening at 6:00 at the funeral home and the family received friends from 6:30 until 9:00 P.M..
