Obituary of Theresa J. Boudreau


LEOMINSTER -- Theresa J. (Chisholm) Boudreau, 78, of Leominster, formerly of Concord, died Friday, April 28, at home of cancer. She was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Concord, the daughter of William Roderick Chisholm and Beatrice Cecilia (O’Malley) Chisholm, and had lived the past 52 years in Leominster. Mrs. Boudreau was a devoted wife and mother, raising four children. She enjoyed her gardens, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A devote Catholic, Mrs. Boudreau was a member of St. Leo’s Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister for many years, and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Mrs. Boudreau was predeceased by her husband, Alcide T. Boudreau; and her brother, John Chisholm. She leaves her children, a son, William A. Boudreau and his wife, Nancy (Welch), of Hubbardston; three daughters, Theresa M. Breault and her husband, Allen, of Hinsdale, N.H., Karen A. Gavin and her husband, Brian, of Leominster and Marybeth Boudreau and her partner, Jennifer M. Guiry, of Leominster; two sisters, Frances Ann Harrington of Gaithersburg, Md., and Sister Mary Beatrice Chisholm of the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Leominster; eight grandchildren, Nijole Carignan and her husband, Scott, and children Jack and Cole of Hubbardston, Dene Boudreau and her partner, Matt Stone, of York, Maine, William Boudreau Jr. of Hubbardston, Erin Breault and her daughter, Brooke Covey, of Hinsdale, N.H., and Thomas Breault and his partner, Lisa Bebe, of Hinsdale, N.H.; and many well-loved nephews and nieces. BOUDREAU -- On April 28, Theresa J. (Chisholm) Boudreau, 78, of Leominster. A funeral will be held on Monday, May 1, from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster, with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St., Leominster. Cremation will follow at Rural Crematory. Calling hours will be Sunday, April 30, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made either to the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 99 Church St., Leominster, or to the St. Leo’s School Building Fund, c/o St. Leo’s Rectory, 106 Main St., Leominster, MA 01453.
