ALLEN - Shirley of Paterson, NJ departed this life on Thursday, October 17, 2002. Beloved mother of Tyrone Fields, Previn and Edrese Allen, Myava Fields. Beloved wife of the late William Hogans. Daughter of the late Luther and Elizabeth Coleman. Loving sister of Melvin P. Jenkins Sr. PHD, and the late Wilbert and John Jenkins. Grandmother of seventeen, great-grandmother of one. Devoted friend of Catherine Onguae, mother-in-law of Monica Allen, sister-in-law of Loretta and Kim Jenkins. Also survived by special aunt Hattie Oliver and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors. Services: Friday, 8 PM, Carnie P. Bragg Funeral Homes, 256 Rosa Parks Blvd., Paterson, NJ. Interment: Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit: Friday 7-8 PM.
