Obituary of Sarah-Drummer Newton

Sarah Drummer Newton -Savannah - Sarah Drummer Newton, 99, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Candler Hospital. She was a native of Claxton, GA, and lived in Millen and Brunswick before moving to Savannah 60 years ago. She was a member of Conner's Temple Baptist church. She was an Eastern Star. Survivors are one sister, Della James of Newark, NY; a host of nieces nephews, cousins, a goddaughter, and other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2006 at Conner's Temple Baptist Church, 509 W. Gwinnett St., Rev. Dr. Bennie R. Mitchell, Jr., pastor. Internment at Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
