Obituary of Sarah A. McCaffrey

Sarah A. McCaffrey, 40 Was medical assistant; Townsend resident Sentinel & Enterprise TOWNSEND -- Sarah A. McCaffrey, 40, of Townsend, died unexpectedly Monday, July 3, at her home in Townsend. She was born on May 7, 1966, in Kurayoshi, Tottori-ken, Japan, the only child of Duane E. and Sayoko (Matsumoto) Crabtree. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1984 and Burdett School of Business in Boston. Mrs. McCaffrey had worked many years for Charles T. Main, Price Waterhouse, Braun and Gillette. She returned to school at the Career Education Institute in Lowell, and had most recently worked as a medical assistant to Dr. L.A. Churchville, in Townsend. She was a member of the Faith Evangelical (Advent Christian) Church of Melrose. Mrs. McCaffrey leaves her husband, Edward McCaffrey; a son, Jeffrey J. Owen of Haverhill; and her parents, Duane E. Crabtree and Sayoko Crabtree of Arlington. MCCAFFREY -- A Memorial service will be held at the Faith Evangelical Church, 200 Franklin St., Melrose on a day and time to be announced. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Sterling Animal Shelter, 17 Laurelwood Road, Sterling, MA 01564. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
