Obituary of Ross-Edward Riley


RILEY, Ross Edward - In loving memory of Ross Edward Riley, 53 years, who passed away Sunday, May 14th, 2006 at the SRH - Memorial Site. Beloved husband of Suzanne (Martel) Riley of Sudbury. Loving step-father to Glenn Spiess (wife Jennifer) and James Spiess both of Thunder Bay. Cherished grandfather of Sarah and Allyson. Dear son of William E. Riley of Belleville and Jean Riley predeceased. Dear brother of Jayne Rosatte (husband Rick) of Peterborough and his twin sister Ruth Riley of Belleville. Dear uncle to Logan and Cole Rosatte. Special friend of Jim and Karen Lovett of Kitchener. Ross grew up in Belleville. He settled in Sudbury in 2001 previously residing in Thunder Bay and Dryden. He was a senior valuation analyst with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation having over 25 years service. He enjoyed carpentry, fishing, golfing and spending time at his cabin in Dryden. Ross was always true to his word and he will be remembered as an honest and friendly person who was quick to help others. He was a perfectionist with an inspired work ethic. He was devoted to his loving family. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, Tuesday, May 16th, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. Cremation with interment of the cremains in the family plot at Belleville. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. (Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday).
