Obituary of Robert-O. Byrd

Robert O. Byrd, 86, Venice and formerly of Ridgeville, Ind., died Dec. 4, 2005. He was born Jan. 23, 1919, in Ridge-ville, Ind., and operated and owned the food service concession at Venice Beach. He had been a brick mason in a family owned commercial construction business, and had owned a restaurant in Indiana. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Nilah; a son, Bruce of Gainesville; and a brother, Donald of Sebring.
