Obituary of Robert-Lee Gammon


Robert Lee Gammon, 71, died Sept. 8, 2012, in Fort Pierce. He was born in West Helena, Ark., and lived in St. Lucie County since 1953. He attended the public schools of St. Lucie County and was a graduate of Lincoln Park Academy. Before retirement, he worked at the power plant as a supervisor of construction. He was a member of Tabernacle of Deliverance Church, where he served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher and was on the usher board. Survivors include his son, Trimindus Miller of Fort Pierce; brothers, Rev. Jesse Williams Jr. of Memphis, Ark., and Rev. Frank C. Williams of Fort Pierce; sisters, Gladys Gammon Schenck of Port St. Lucie and Elder Gloria J. Williams of Miami. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 15 at Tabernacle of Deliverance Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. A guestbook is available at www.stonebrothershome.com.
