Obituary of Robert-L. Cooley

Robert L. Cooleyof New Milford, Pa.Robert L. Cooley, 60, of New Milford, Pa., died Friday, December 9, 2005, at his residence. Born in Hop Bottom, Pa. on December 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Boyd R. and Mable E. (McLaud) Cooley. He served his country during the Vietnam War. A heavy equipment operator, he most recently worked for Smith & Bolles. In addition, he worked for Claverack for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 154, Montrose, and was known for his chicken barbequing. He is survived by his special friend for the past 17 years, Agnes Glover; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Crain Stout, Unadilla, N.Y.; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Becky Cooley, RR2, Kingsley; stepsons, Henry Glover, RR1, Susquehanna, and Stacey Glover, Harford, Pa.; grandchildren, Alayna, Tanner, Sylvania, Rayne, Paige, and Jesse; a great-grandchild, Chase; sisters and brother-in-law, June and Donald Robinson, Montrose, and Dorothy Jean Linden, Montrose; brother, Boyd "Butch" Cooley, Montrose; and nieces and nephews.The public is invited to a visitation on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, 74 Church Street, Montrose, Pa. Only the service will be private at the convenience of the family.
