Obituary of Robert-D. Buck

Robert D. Buck, 79, Nokomis, died July 14, 2002. He was born Nov. 20, 1922, in Boston and came to Nokomis in 1989 from Granby, Conn. He was an insurance manager and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge of Framingham, Mass., Beta Theta Phi and Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. Survivors include his wife, June; daughters Elinor M. of New York City and Elisabeth Buck-Goldstein of Orlando; a son, Robert S. of Whitinsville, Mass.; a sister, Elisabeth Buck-Page of Lincoln, Mass.; and a granddaughter. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home is in charge.
