Obituary of Robert Carriere

CARRIERE, Robert (Bob) Passed away peacefully on July 13, 2009 at the West Island Palliative Care Residence in his seventy-third year. Beloved husband of Jeanne-D'Arc Carriere (nee Valcourt). Adored son of the late Eugene and Alberta Carriere (nee Bouchard) of Pte. Claire, Quebec. Dear father of Marc, Michael (Pam Holgate), Patricia, Sylvia and Alison. Respected grandfather to Carly, Robert, Cassandra, Christopher and Geoffrey. Dutiful brother of Gisele, Noella and the late Mariette (Jean-Guy Taillefer). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Bob's dedicated health professionals at the Oncology Department of the Lakeshore General Hospital and the very caring staff and volunteers at the West Island Palliative Care Residence for their amazing support. Funeral arrangements entrusted to: A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 between 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. We will miss you, but never forget you.
