Obituary of Rita-M. Jackson

SILVER, Rita M. - Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, on Tuesday, September 9, 2008, six days prior to celebrating her 90th birthday. Rita (nee Jackson), cherished wife of W. Harold Silver, through nearly 70 years of marriage. Loving mother of Marlene Metzler (David) of Kingston, and Sharon Compeau (John) of Kingston. Dear grandmother of Susanne Hall (Peter), Trish Elliott (Corey), Robert Metzler, Jon Marc Compeau (Marcie) and Scott Campeau (Stephanie), and great grandmother of Anna, Eric, Alexander, James, Brandon, Sarah and Ethan. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME (1900 John Counter Boulevard). Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 2:00 pm, with Reverend Laurie McKnight-Walker officiating. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. Rita's family will receive friends on Saturday, from 12 noon until time of service, as well as in the James Reid Reception Centre, following the service.
