Obituary of Richard Hamilton

Funeral service for Richard Hamilton, 84, 17th Court, Opa Locka, Fla., who died May 11, 2007, at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Gainous Funeral Home Chapel, with Elder Emma L. Rivers officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Park Cemetery, Big Tree Road. Calling hours are today (Friday) from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hamilton was born in Daytona Beach and moved from there to Opa Locka 60 years ago. He was a self-employed maintenance worker, a graduate of the former Campbell Street High School, and he enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his daughter, Eunice Wolfe, Daytona Beach; aunt, Mozella Hooker, Daytona Beach; brother-in-law, Willie (Mildred) Shepard; grandchildren, Reggie Hamilton, Richard Wolfe, Carol, Howard, Rondell and Macey Bennett; and several great-grandchildren.
