Raymond St. Pierre, 91, husband of the late Florence (Girard) St. Pierre, of West Hartford, died Saturday, (July 23, 2005). Born in Chauvin, Alberta Canada, the son of the late Philip and Aurore (Lambert) St. Pierre, he made his home in West Hartford for the past 33 years. Ray served in the US Army during World War II and was employed by the West Hartford School System as a custodian. He was a communicant of the Church of St. Timothy and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline and Walter Lazlo of New Britain, Claudette and Bernie LaPira of Islamorada, FL; a sister Adele Martin of Middletown; a brother Joseph St. Pierre of Kensington; four grandchildren, Thomas Lazlo and his wife Patty, John Lazlo and his wife Jackie, Sandra Singleton and her husband Scott, Tony LaPira; four great grandchildren, Timothy and Ryan Lazlo, Ashley and Daniel Singleton. The funeral will be Wednesday beginning with visitation at 8:45 a.m. in the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Timothy, West Hartford.
