Obituary of Ralph Temple


TEMPLE, Ralph Hedley Ralph passed away on September 22, 2006, surrounded by his family. He will be missed by his wife of 63 years, Jean, and children Pat (Jim), Jim (Karen) and Doug. His nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren will also miss "Popa ". Ralph was born August 29, 1918 in Vernon, B.C. and raised in Trail. In 1943 he married Jean in Victoria and later was employed as an X-ray technician at the Dockyard and later V.M.D. Ralph played for the first Victoria Shamrock Lacrosse team, and always loved to play tennis. In 1957 Ralph and Jean became Jehovah's Witnesses, and Ralph enjoyed spending as much time as possible talking to others about the Bible. His warm, friendly personality will be greatly missed. Memorial service and tea will be held Saturday, Sept. 30 at 2pm, at Bayside Middle School, 1101 Newton Place (off Wallace Dr.), Brentwood Bay. 299850
