Obituary of Ralph-Clifford Rafuse


RAFUSE, Ralph Clifford Veteran of WWII The family of Ralph Rafuse announces with sorrow his death on Saturday, July 26, 2003, at the age of 78. Ralph died peacefully at his home in Westbrook and will be sadly missed by his wife of 60 years, Mona, and daughters Judy Rini and her husband Jim, Christine Sorensen and her husband Frits, Carole Hansen and her husband Palle, Trudy Bell and her husband John, son Randy Rafuse and his wife Jenny Gavaghan. Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 15 grea t grandchildren. Also remembered by brother Leo Rafuse and sisters Mabel Veinot and her husband Bill, Mildred Blair and her husband Lloyd, Vivian Irving and her husband Owen, and Jean Salsman. Predeceased by brother Morris Rafuse, sister Evelyn Veino t, sisters-in-law Elsie and Ada Rafuse and brothers-in-law Earn Veinot and Arnold Salsman. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (Counter Street at Highway 2). Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral servi ce in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment Henderson Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association or The Heart & Stroke Foundation in Mr. Rafuse's memory.
