He was survived by wife: Joy Merritt of Groveland, FL; Son, Robert "Jake" Merritt of Groveland, FL; Daughter, Tammy Pridgen of Groveland, FL; Grandson, Kyle J. Pridgen of Groveland, FL; Father, Bernard "Bill" Merritt of Mascotte, FL; 3 Sisters, Patricia Spillane of Groveland, FL, Sharon Atchley of Okahumpka, FL, Barbara Hodges of Bushnell, FL; Several Nieces and Nephews. Services will be held, Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 10AM at Tuscanooga Baptist Church, Groveland, FL. Interment will be at Tuscanooga Cemetery, Groveland, FL.
