Obituary of Paul Quinn

Paul Quinn, 64, a lifetime New Yorker and a 30-year Rye resident, surrounded by his adoring family, passed on to Heaven May 20, 2007. In Paul's short but valiant battle with cancer, he showed tremendous courage, grace and acceptance when his time came. Paul loved Elvis, the Mets, the Jets and Corvettes. Paul spent many years coaching and watching hundreds of his children's various sporting events and performances. We will miss his dry wit and unique view of the world that made him the most hilarious person who never tried to be funny. An architectural designer by trade, his true hobby and passion was his family. Paul was a caring brother to Tracy Quinn and sister Susan Horsman. He was staunchly loyal to Barbara, his wife and best friend of 33 years, and graciously loving to his seven children and their spouses: Cathleen Quinn, Kelly Carey and husband Wally, Brian Quinn, Scott Leonard and wife Melissa, Chris Leonard and wife Deborah, Sean Quinn and wife Lauren and Colleen Quinn as well as his nine grandchildren. He was always there for us and in our hearts is where he will always stay. "How sweet it is." Family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Resurrection Church, 10 am Thursday. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME 1036 Boston Post Rd. Rye (914)967-0129
