Obituary of Paul-H. Barrette


Paul H. Barrette went to be with the Lord February 20, 2015 after 93 years. Paul proudly served his country in the Pacific Arena during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion, the CWA, and the Pioneers. Paul retired from the Telephone Company with over 35 years of dedicated service. In life, Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a compassionate, caring man, and very involved in his church, Our Lady of Lourdes, helping out in anyway needed. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Paul was a loving husband to his predeceased wives, Mary Lorraine, Mary Jane, and Mary Elinor. Paul is survived by his daughters, Carol (Lyn) Mooney, Joyce (Antonio) Cotto; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, February 27 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Tpk. with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 300 Valley Drive. Interment: St. Agnes Cemetery. On Paul's behalf his family would like to acknowledge all those that loved, cared for, and enriched his life. He was a very charismatic man and fondly admired. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY. Date of Death: February 20, 2015
