Mr. Paul Edwin King, 84, widower of Edith Gilliland King, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002. Retired: Daniel Construction Company. Member: Augusta Road United Methodist Church. Survivors: daughters, Elaine Helms of Greenwood and Sandra Watson of Piedmont; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Bessie Mullis of Cana, Va., and Louise Elrod of Central. Predeceased by three sisters and a brother. Visitation: 12 noon to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Service: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
