Obituary of Patrick-H. Kelleher


Kelleher, Patrick H. CHATHAM CENTER, N.Y. Patrick H. Kelleher, 63, of Old Rt. 66, Chatham Center, died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital. Husband, daddy and grandpa, Mr. Kelleher was born December 27, 1943 in Brooklyn, N.Y. He is the son of the late Daniel and Lillian (King) Kelleher. He graduated from Clarkson University in 1966. For 35 years he was employed in the defense industry as an electrical engineer, having been employed with Westinghouse, General Electric, Lock-heed Martin and retiring from General Dynamics in 2002. He enjoyed all things scientific, construction, architecture and design. Mr. Kelleher was a beekeeper, woodworker and pilot. He also enjoyed music, problem solving and being the devil's advocate. He enjoyed donuts and licorice. He will truly be missed by all. Mr. Kelleher is survived by his wife, Mudite (Dee) Kelleher of Chatham Center; two sons, Mitchel Kelleher of Los Angeles, Calif., Nicholas Kelleher of Seatle, Wash.; two daughters, Desiree Kelleher of Latham, N.Y., Bonnie Kelleher of Chatham Center; three brothers, Timothy of Reston, Va., Donald of Darlington, Pa., and Bruce of Warrington, Va. Survived also by three grandchildren, Sydney Put-nam, Zachary and Mason Kelleher. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. from the Wenk Funeral Home, Chat-ham. Interment will be in the Chatham Center Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Peter's Hospital (Oncology Dept.).
