Obituary of Patricia-Ann Galvin

Patricia Ann (Austin) Galvin, of South Weymouth died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 at Brigham & Womens Hospital in Boston. She was 77 years of age. Pat was born in Quincy. She graduated from Weymouth High School and North Adams Teachers College. Pat was an Elementary School Teacher. She retired in 1995 from the South Intermediate School and previously taught at Abigail Adams School, Immaculate Conception School and Academy Avenue Elementary Schools all in Weymouth and also the Central Elementary School in Scituate. Beloved wife of George H. Galvin. Devoted mother of Michael S. Galvin and Jeremy G. Galvin both of South Weymouth. Sister of James Austin of Westerly, RI, Robert Austin of Wareham and Brian Austin of Northborough. Loving grandmother of Nicole R. Galvin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral was from the McDonald Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) Monday, Aug 30, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in Saint Francis Xavier Church, South Weymouth at 10 Oclock.
