FREEMAN - Norman Robert (2/13/1921 - 8/31/2013) of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Buffalo and Hammondsport, NY. Born in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our incredible husband and father. Norm died August 31st at the age of 92 at Lake Port Square, Leesburg, FL, where he lived for the past three years. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice, of 66 years and his children, Judith (James) Bradbury of Scott Depot, WV, Kathleen (Charles) Fitzgerald of Chagrin Falls, OH, Marilyn (Gary) Fraker of Lady Lake, FL, Susan (David) Buresch of Holland, NY and James (Cherilyn) Freeman of Charleston, WV, and his sister, Elizabeth (late Edward) Harvey of Washington DC, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Freeman, as well as siblings, Margaret, Howard, Edward, Carl, Madeline (Farrell) and Cecelia. Norm served in the US Army in WWII and had a long career with the New York Telephone Co. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres, and especially his family. A private family memorial service will celebrate his life.
