Obituary of Monica-P. King

King, Monica P. TROY, N.Y. Monica P. King, 91, beloved wife of the late Joseph L. King, died on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Eddy Memorial Geriatrics Center in Troy. Born in Waterford, she was the daughter of the late William and Patricia Doyle Powers and was a graduate of Waterford High School. Mrs. King was a home-maker and a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church in Sycaway. Devoted mother of Joseph L. (Beth) King Jr. of Brunswick, Sharon J. (Paul) Ruddy, Patricia (Peter) Derenzo, all of Troy, and the late Kathleen Talarico and Joyce Morris, who is survived by her husband, Richard Morris of Fla.; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews; sister of the late Rita, Millie, Mary and William Powers. Funeral will be held on Monday at 10:15 a.m. from the Morris-Stebbins-Miner & San-vidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick Street, Troy, thence to Our Lady of Victory Church, Corner of North Lake Avenue and Marshland Court, Troy, where at 11:00 a.m. the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
