Obituary of Michael-George Brophy

BROPHY, Michael George, 75, of Keavy, KY, formerly of Brandon, FL., departed this life on Sunday, October 6, 2013. He was born on April 16, 1938 in Prince George's County, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Katherine Kerns Brophy, and his sister, Patricia Gray. He is survived by one son, Robert Brophy of Brandon, FL; two daughters, Laura K. Breunig (Ken) of Prairie du Sac, WI.; Bettye Lynn Fuhs of Harlan, IA.; three brothers, Thomas Brophy of Pensacola, FL.; Rick Brophy (Leslie) and Dave Brophy of Miami, FL.; one sister, Betty Holland of Monroeville, PA.; five grandchildren, Emily Labenz, Jason Fuhs, Keeley Johnson, Savannah and Molly Breunig, three great grandchildren, Cameron, David and Mia, a cousin and close friend, Carol Brophy and her daughter, Michelle (Scotty) Rucker, Michelle's children, Caitlyn and Aislinn Skiles and Tristan Rucker. Michael was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a mechanical/electrical engineer, and a successful business owner.
