Obituary of Maurice-Albert Boyer

BOYER, Maurice Albert - Peacefully, in his home in Kingston, Ontario on Sunday, July 20th, 2008 at the age of 87. Maurice is survived by his loving wife, May Boyer (nee Sheckleston). Father of Diane Pross (Hugh), and Gail Boyer of Kingston, and Al Boyer (Mary-Ellen) of Whitecourt, Alberta. Grandfather of Geoff, Erika and Trevor Pross, Adam Pyne, and Matthew, Gregory and Kate Boyer. Great-grandfather of Nathan and Natasha Irwin-Pyne, and Benjamin and Olivia Pross. Maurice was born in Cornwall, Ontario and served in England with the RCAF as a Warrant Officer Pilot, where he met his wife May in Cheshire. They settled in Cornwall, Ontario where he was Clerk of the City of Cornwall for many years, and retired as CAO. There will be a private funeral service held at ROBERT J. REID & SONS FUNERAL HOME, “The Chapel on the Corner“ on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.
