Obituary of Mary Rosamonde Mayo

MAYO, Mary RosamondeAugust 13, 1929 - June 10, 2016It is with a heavy heart, yet blessed by many fond and happy memories, that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Mary Rosamonde Mayo. Lovingly remembered by her children, Craig (Susan) and Laura (Greg), grandchildren Matthew (Nicole), Katie, Rebecca, Val, Trevor (Amy), Stacy, Jayme, and great- grandson Owen. Also fondly remembered by her special sister-in-law Marion. Born in Vancouver and a resident of Richmond for the past 58 years, she enjoyed many happy days with her children and grandchildren. A special thank you to Dr. M.G. Frey for all his kindness and help over the years. Thanks also to the staff at Minoru Residences for their care and compassion these last few months. Mom was the bond that held our family together, and will always be remembered in our hearts. There is no service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation or Alzheimer Society of BC would be appreciated.
