Obituary of Mary-Lou-Brinkman Wylde

April 23, 2006 Mary Lou Brinkman Wylde, 78, a lifetime resident of Syracuse and the Tipperary Hill area, and most recently of Park Rose Estates, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, at Community General Hospital after a brief illness. Mary Lou at-tended Frazier, Delaware and Central Technical High School. She worked at Syracuse Pottery, General Electric, Shopper's Fair and University Hospital before retiring in 1993 from the Registrar's Office of SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry. She loved animals, particularly horses. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Her many friends and acquaintances will say they have never met anyone nicer. Mary Lou was predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Clarissa Brinkman; a brother, Wesley; and her husband, Edwin "Bud" Wylde. In addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends, Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Amanda Trudell, her husband Scott, and their children, Travis and Ashley Trudell; a daughter, Carrie Wylde; her sons, Joshua and Justin Darby, and daughter Crystal Godin and her husband, Joseph; and their children Julissa, Meaghan, Joseph and Makenzie; a sister-in-law MaryAnn Brinkman of CA; sister-in-law Anna "Nancy" Badowski and her husband Bill of Phoenix, AZ; and an aunt, Marian Bloodgood of Liverpool. A graveside service will be Thursday, April 27, at 11 a.m., in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Whelan Bros. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
